A model can generate impressive output without creating durable enterprise value. The harder problem is connecting AI to the capabilities, information, workflows, controls and accountabilities that already shape how an organisation works.
That makes enterprise AI an architecture question. The model is one component inside a larger socio-technical system: business intent, people, information, applications, integration, infrastructure, governance and measurable outcomes all matter.
A useful starting point is to move from isolated proofs of concept toward explicit target capabilities. Ask what decision or workflow will improve, what information is required, where human judgement stays essential, which controls must be evidenced, and how the solution will integrate into the operating environment.
Architecture should not slow experimentation. Its role is to make experiments easier to compare, safer to scale and more likely to produce reusable enterprise capability.
